MAEERs MIT Arts ,Commerce & Science College, Popularly known to thousands of our students as MACS College, has grown meteorically in a span of eight years. Beginning with just one Course, B. Com. We now have ten district courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels and commensurate with that, our students strength has risen from just about 50 students to over 3000 students in 2016-17.

Our popular appeal is largely due to our efforts at blending academic excellence with practical course that enable our students to be stand at the frontiers of curricular achievements, while also infusing in them a sense of fun and freedom through a wide array of co-curricular activities and event.

Established in 2004 with goal of pursuing all-round excellence, and affiliated to the internationally. Recognized Savitribai Phule Pune University scaled new heights each year.

While our undergraduate courses provide opportunities to students to come level with the latest knowledge in the field, our post-graduate Courses have opened up several opportunities to students to find creative and Progressive careers.

Inspired by the positive energy of the MIT World Peace Center, education at MACS College is a union of science and spirituality. We are constantly guided by motto. A Dream to lead A Dream to Succeed .The Latest Feather in our cap was securing ‘A’ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. In 2012, in our very first attempt as well as complete one Decade of Academic Excellence.

The library is computerized with Microsoft Software also has a collection of DC’s, DVD’s , audio/video cassettes, and projection system. Ultra-modern library with no of books, national / International journal and with internet facilities.

• H.S.C. examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination of any other statutory Board or University with English as a passing subject. (OR)
• 3 years Diploma after S.S.C. of Board of Technical Education or its equivalent (OR)
• 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C. of Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.

B.Sc.(Com. Science)

• The student seeking admission to the first year B.Sc. (Computer Science) must have passed in Higher Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) level examination in Science with Mathematics. (OR)
• 3 years Diploma after S.S.C. of Board of Technical Education Maharashtra state or its equivalent.(OR)
• A candidate who has passed the Three-Year Final Diploma Examination in Engineering conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations, Maharashtra State shall be eligible for admission to the First Year B.Sc. (Computer Science) Course.

B.A (Economics)

• Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with English as a passing subject.
• Three Years Diploma Course (after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard), of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
• Three Years Diploma in Pharmacy Course (after S.S.C. i.e. 10th), of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
• S.S.C. of 10 years or 11 years with English and Indian Air Force Educational Test for promotion to the rank of Corporal.
• Trained Teachers Certificate Course, of Inter-State Board of Anglo Indian Education, New Delhi.
• Intermediate Commerce/Arts examination from the Recognized Board of Secondary Education, M.P. Bhopal with 4 subjects including General English.

M.A.(MCJ)

• Bachelor's Degree from any faculty from a Statutory University. Candidates having appeared for their final degree examination may also apply, but can get confirmed admission only after having passed the examination (in case selected in the special aptitude test) and submission of degree mark-sheet.
• MJMC is Post Graduate degree course designed to produce competent and dynamic professional in communications who can cater to every need of journalism and allied professions like advertising and public relations etc.

M.Com

• For Indian Student Eligibility: The Student who has passed any Recognized university, shall be admitted to M.Com. Course.
• For foreign Student: Any graduate from foreign University with Minimum four Commerce subject.

Overview

MAEER's MIT Institute of Design started its operations in August 2006, guided by the days leading minds in the Indian design education, with a plan to develop its identity as a research & training institution of highest international quality. This Unique design school one of its kind second in India is developed by Dr. Sunil K. Karad. Who is Doctorate in polymer engineering from Sheffield University (U.K.)

In pursuance of one of our future aspirations, we at the MAEER's MIT Institute of Design added a further dimension to the programs of design learning at our campus. The concept of Design Habitat is in fact a logical and organic extension of our stated philosophy that ensures a total generalist ambience to enable design learning. It would evolve as an overarching concept around the functional framework of the Design Institute which remains an integral component of the Habitat.

It is into this kind of stimulating and inspirational environment that mentors from various design Related disciplines would be invited to interact with the design learners and challenge their young minds to explore newer territories that should complement and reinforce their ongoing design learning. Here are some of the disciplines from which these mentors would be selected: biomechanics, alternative energy systems, linguistics (semiotics), performing arts, plastic arts, design anthropology, sociology, perception and cognitive psychologies and several More. The mentors would ensure that the level of interaction is such that it eventually leads to a learning that is comprehensive, sustained and focused in depth, and directly or indirectly design related.

Distributing the course contents in form of projects is an obvious and time tested method. Each project would be formulated so as to necessitate participation of a mentor and one or two young aspirants pursuing the same discipline as the participating mentor. The team thus formed would be led by a member of the permanent faculty of the Institute. Sometimes the Project might be so designed as to the participation of mentors from more than one discipline if needed.

The enhanced scope of activities at the Design Habitat would also mean that we reinforce, within the present areas of learning at the Institute. To this effect, two new centers of advanced learning are being envisaged for the near future. The first is the Faculty of Architecture. The major emphasis here would be on humane and logical application of twenty first century technologies, arts and sciences toward solving the problems of human habitat in India. The second is a Centre for Theatre and Body Language. Even though it might seem to have been inspired by the Bauhaus Theatre of the 1930's, its major thrust would be on exploring the worlds of light and sound effects and ways of communication by means of body language.

Active placement cell: Students passed out from MIT Institute of design are recognized by various MNC's as well as several students have started working independently and few of them who have their own family businesses are working with them.

Application forms is available on the website. The candidate has to fill the online application form the website andsubmit a dully filled hard copy of the same before the last date along with a demand draft of ₹ 2,500 /- U.S. $ 45 (for foreign students) in favour of "MIT ID PUNE"drawn on Pune branch as fees for Design Aptitude Test. The incomplete application forms / not satisfying eligibility criteria will be rejected.

The MITID™ Design Aptitude Test (MITID-DAT™) fees ( ₹ 2,500/-) for rejected applications will not be refunded. No official communication will be made regarding rejected application forms.

The admission process is in two phases

• MITID-DAT™ Design Aptitude Test will be conducted at Pune.
• Studio Test and Personal Interview at MITID™ campus in Pune.
