Overview

This VG School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from Nursery to Grade 10(CBSE), established in the year 2015 at Rajbaug Campus.

Admission Process

Eligibility of the student to take admission in particular standard- (Age criteria)

Kinder Garden / KG Age – 3 years and above on 31st March
Junior KG Age – 4 years and above on 31st March
Senior KG Age – 5 years and above on 31st March
Primary Section Age – 5 - 11 years – Standard
  • Kinder Garten - No test for kinder garten (KG), Junior KG, Senior KG and Std I. The school visit of both Parents & Children aims at observations of certain childhood skills to see the suitability of the child to start schooling.
  • Primary & Secondary Section - A written test would be conducted for all students submitting application forms for admission. Students will be admitted on the basis of admission test. The decision of the school authority will be final in each case regarding admission of any class.
  • Documents required – Original Birth Certificate in case of KG and Standard I admission. Leaving Certificate from the previous school is required in the case of students seeking admission from Standard II onwards.

Physical activity is vital for a child's development and lays the foundation for a healthy and active life. Indoor and outdoor games both experiences are important for a child's development. It is good for children to participate in play, in both indoor and outdoor settings, every day. Laboratories

Curiosity or inquisitiveness is a distinct feature of human beings. Human beings are born with inquisitiveness. They are always curious and inquisitive about their environment. Excursions

Excursion is visit to a location for educational purpose. They are exploratory and fulfill the on–the spot observation of some specific process. Value Education

Overview

"Gu" means dark and "Ru" means light. So, "Guru" may be translated as darkness to light, or possibly one who leads from darkness to light. The Guru- Shishya parampara has been an inevitable part of education in the ancient Indian Culture. This involved the tradition of a living and learning relationship between the Guru and the Student (Shishya), signifying the emotional, intellectual and spiritual bonding between them. This strong bond between the Guru and the Shishya enables the Guru to become a mentor who leads the shishya from ignorance to wisdom, and enlightenment.

MAEER strongly believes in the virtues of the Guru-Shishya parampara and has nurtured a dream of molding the future citizens by equipping them with the latest instructional technology in the ambience of the Gurukul System.

This is the sole aim of establishing the project of Vishwashanti Gurukul, which is akin to an ashram, spread over 35 acres of lush greenery on the beautiful banks of the Mula-Mutha river is based on the matrix of Saptaswar, Saptarang and Saptarishi and is already in the final stages of manifestation at Rajbaug, Pune. Here, immense care has been taken to ensure the emotional, intellectual and spiritual interaction between the students (shishyas) and their respected and revered "Guru".

This picturesque area exudes peace and tranquility and seems closer to Mother Nature in spite of being located in close proximity to the busy Pune-Sholapur Highway. It can be the only place for 'Sadhna', the seeking of knowledge through the long forgotten concept of Gurukul.

The greatest contribution to this project was made by none other than the family members of the Late Raj Kapoor, the Legend of Indian Cinema byway of donating the land at Rajbaug, Pune.

Rajbaug was formally handed over to Hon'ble Dr. Vishwanath D.Karad, Executive President and Director General, MAEER on 4th August 2002, by the Kapoor Family. This was a resting place for the late showman who found high solace here and had wished that the land be used only for social or educational purpose. To fulfill his dream, this land has been developed into a large educational campus while still retaining its original serenity.

At "Vishwashanti Gurukul, an IB World School", a unique blend of the ancient Indian Guru-Shishya Parampara with the modern methodology of instruction and a hi-tech education system with due emphasis on ancient Indian Heritage and Culture enables the students to be global citizens of tomorrow. Overview

MIT College of Food Technology is established in the year 2006 by great visionary Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanath D. Karad. The vision is to take India ahead in the field of Food processing qualitatively and quantitatively. Dr. Mangesh T. Karad is executive Director of the institute has taken initiative to establish the same.

The college is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri and Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, Pune (M.S.). The college offers an undergraduate program leading to B. Tech. (Food Technology) a Four years degree course.

Food Technology is a branch of food science that deals with the production processes that make foods. This branch of technology includes learning of the various processes such as canning, Preservation, Pasteurization, production etc. Today’s Double income group and Mall culture ,in day today life needs , is in demand of various readymade processed food products .Highly trained and professional are absorbed by industry . With this thought we have developed this MIT college of Technology at one of our premium campus at Rajbaugh ,Loni Kalbhor, Pune.

Careers in food technology typically deal with the quality of food before it reaches the consumer market. People in this field may wish to pursue jobs as food research technicians, who test food products for nutritional value and preservatives, or work with regulations of the Food and Drug Administration. Others may prefer a career in food inspection, ensuring that food that reaches the public is safe for consumption by running tests on both packaging and the food itself. Another option is to become a food product development director, a position which works to develop new food products or technologies to help preserve and package food. Several Job Opportunities after completing this B.Tech (Food Technology) are open to the students who are passed out or they can choose post-graduation as well as Doctorate degree in the same field. Fresh Graduates can be absorbed as a Food Research Technician, Food Inspector, Food Product Development Director such kind of different job opportunities are available.
