Journalism is gathering, processing, and dissemination of news, and information related to news, to an audience. The word applies to the method of inquiring for news, the literary style which is used to disseminate it, and the activity (professional or not) of journalism.

The media that journalism uses vary diversely and include: content published via newspapers and magazines (print), television and radio (broadcast), and their digital media versions — news websites and applications.

Today’s world is of digital marketing, every bit of information is shared and processed. Concept of global village is in to reality. It becomes important to share the information at every second and update at moment. With this thought Latur which is the second destination of education on the state map we have started with this MIT Jansawasd college at, Latur . Developing journalist in the rural area. It is affiliated to Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada university,Aurangabad.

In a democratic society, journalist plays important role communicating, viable information gathered by independent media sources, which adhere to journalistic standards need to be place in front of people. We at MIT teaches them value based education so that students which are outcome of this institutions are actively involved in the development of filed journalism.

With this thought proper education at every step is important and should reach to the student in a systematic way is tedious task. With this thought college was established in 2004 under guidance of eminent Eye Specialist and Executive Director Dr.H.T. Karad Sir to motivate the education in rural area in field of Journalism.

MIT Jasanwad College, established in 15 June 2004, has two prominent objectives. To dedicate all its resources for development in its students the capacity and desire to learn to understand and share the fruits of their intellectual growth with the society at large and pursue its educational mission in a Climate of learning, that stresses the importance of the individual, Personal worth and integrity, harmonious relationships with others, and the responsibility to serve society through the productive use of talent and training.

Admission Process

Following documents are essentials with the Admission form:

• One original and three attested photo copies of transfer certificate.
• One original and three attested photo copies of mark memo (es).
• Attested Xerox copies of the Marks sheets of all the previous Examinations ( From SSC, HSC, Graduate till P.G.)
• Three attested photo copies of the Caste certificate.
• Three passport size photograph.
• Migration Certificate (Students from other University).
• Scholarship Sanction Number (For GOI Scholarship holder students)
