About Us

The MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul school, Loni Kalbhor is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from Nursery to Grade 12(CBSE), established in the year 2016 at Rajbaug Campus. Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which knowledge, skills and wisdom are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training and research. This happens through any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels or acts. Gandhi said, “Education is all round drawing out of the best in child and man–body mind and spirit”. On the same lines, VGS too focuses on the development of the Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Spiritual domain of the children. VGS stands for dedication, commitment and excellence. The school strives for imparting quality education and developing young ones to become human man with a strong foundation of values and culture. Goal of the school is to see that the education provided in the school is aligned with the vision, mission and objectives of the school. Efforts are planned in such a way that it provides a dynamic educational experience, keeping in mind the challenging and changing needs of the society.

Welcome to MIT VGS Loni Campus, Pune where we live by our vision of nurturing happy and confident children and ensure that students are groomed to excel in academics and a host of co-curricular activities. Children are provided with state of the art infrastructure and facilities, and ambience that promotes joyful and meaningful learning. We believe that an ideal learning environment ensures that children grow up to become lifelong learners and acquire the necessary skills to face any challenge in the real world. Creativity and innovation are encouraged and collaborative learning is stressed upon.

Character building is a priority and school assemblies set the tone for the day. Students are given a strong ethical base so that they grow up to become empathetic, tolerant and responsible citizens of the world. Children are also trained to participate in several Inter-school events, so that they become confident and smart individuals. Exposure and real life connect is built through interaction with famous personalities and high achievers and also through visits and trips to various places.

Parents are encouraged to become partners in this journey of education and are frequently invited to connect and collaborate with us. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and will eventually prepare students for Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations.

It is our hope that, in partnership with parents, caregivers, and community members, we can inspire children to be critical thinkers; creative problem-solvers; eager, lifelong learners; active community members; and positive, happy people.
